James Cook University is a public research university located in Townsville, Queensland. It was established in 1970 and has been imparting high-quality education since its inception. Off-campus housing is also available for students who wish to stay elsewhere. 

About Location

JCU is a multi-campus university having a presence in the tropical cities of Townsville and Cairns. The Brisbane campus provides courses for international and domestic students. A separate international campus is situated in Singapore. Additionally, there are study centres by the university in Mackay, Thursday Island, Mount Isa and Rockhampton, and these provide programs and support for the students living in rural and remote areas of the country.
