Overview

Australian National University is a public research university located in Canberra, the capital of Australia. It was founded in 1946 and has since become one of the country's leading universities, consistently ranked among the top 50 universities worldwide. It is the only university in Australia that the Parliament of Australia created. 

ANU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees across a wide range of disciplines, including arts, humanities, social sciences, sciences, engineering and medicine. The university is particularly well-known for its international relations, economics, law, physics and astronomy programs.

ANU offers many accommodation options across the campuses. Each housing option is fully furnished, and some have self-contained apartments. Eleven residential facilities are affiliated with ANU. Additionally, off-campus housing is also available for students who are not able to stay on the campus premises.
