Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a public research university having campuses in various locations in the country: Brisbane, North Sydney, Melbourne, Strathfield, Canberra, and Ballarat. A separate campus is also located in Rome, where students can pursue their education during the degree programs. It was founded in 1991 and has a strong focus on Catholic values and ethics. 

ACU offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across its four faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business, and Theology and Philosophy. It is also known for its research in theology and religious studies, education, health sciences, and social sciences. In addition to providing high-quality academic programs, ACU is committed to social justice and community engagement, which is achieved by offering a range of initiatives and programs to promote these values.

As a multi-campus university, ACU gives the opportunity to study at different places to students. Most of the locations are in Australia in the cities of Ballarat, Blacktown, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, North Sydney, and Strathfield. The Catholic connections of the university also make it possible for students to spend time at the Rome campus.
